Ms. Lawryk provides international workshops in the following areas:
- Raising Successful Children Affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.
This one-day workshop is designed
for parents and support staff with the focus on creating individualized strategy development for their child
and family. This session may be curtailed to specific parent groups (birth, adoptive, foster, grandparents,
kinship) by request.
- Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder: Creating Success in the Classroom.
This one-day workshop is curtailed to
identify specific learning styles and potential physical anomalies that may translate to behaviours. This
workshop may be requested and designed for the specific working group (grade levels).
- Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder: Implications for the Justice System.
This workshop is intended for those
individuals working within the Justice System (Judges, Lawyers, Probation Officers, Psychologists and
Psychiatrists) with the view to provide strategies and recommendation options for affected youth and adults
with the goal to reduce recidivism within the criminal justice system.
- Diagnostic Interpretation of Abilities Sessions.
A one-day workshop developed for professionals (Physicians,
Psychologists, Social Workers, Nurses) to provide families with an accurate, detailed explanation of the
diagnosis and identification of how specific cognitive deficits translate to behaviours.
